Senior Java Developer

Responsibilities

• Engineer robust applications that can grow with operational demand and satisfy technical design criteria
• Share insights in system-design discussions to help determine the architecture for evolving projects
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure planned deliverables meet both schedule and quality commitments
• Perform peer reviews and recommend improvements that reinforce clean, consistent coding standards
• Resolve challenging technical defects encountered during design, implementation, testing, and release activities
• Help early-career engineers develop their capabilities through hands-on guidance and shared expertise
• Take part in planning workshops by defining work boundaries and providing informed delivery estimates
• Monitor changes in the technology landscape and adopt methods that bring value to daily development work
• Capture key engineering decisions and procedures to make future maintenance more efficient
• Engage with business stakeholders to understand priorities and align outcomes with expected results

Requirements

• A minimum of three years of hands-on experience in a relevant software engineering role
• Practical familiarity with artificial intelligence technologies used to enhance solution architecture and development methods
• Deep knowledge of core Java programming and object-oriented development techniques
• Demonstrated experience applying Java 8 capabilities in real-world project environments
• Experience developing server-side components and services through Spring Boot
• Background supporting applications or services in a Microsoft Azure cloud setting
• Working awareness of Amazon Web Services for cloud deployment and infrastructure operations
• Understanding of continuous integration and delivery methods for repeatable automated releases
• Ability to write SQL queries and work effectively with relational database structures
• Proven experience implementing independently deployable services through microservices design
• Hands-on experience exposing REST APIs and consuming external REST integrations
• Ability to create unit tests that validate expected behavior and strengthen software reliability
• Working knowledge of Java-compatible NoSQL data storage technologies
• Professional English communication skills at B2 level or higher
