Senior Java Developer

Together with our Business Partner, a leading financial institution in Poland, we are looking for an experienced specialist to carry out projects as a Senior Java Developer. The project focuses on developing new functionalities and services within an extensive banking ecosystem, while ensuring the quality and stability of existing components through cyclical reviews and improvements. SCOPE OF SERVICES - Designing and implementing software in hexagonal architecture. - Ensuring high code quality and compliance with current standards. - Analyzing system performance and security, and implementing improvements. - Developing new functionalities and services within the client's ecosystem. - Participating in cyclical reviews and improvements of developed solutions to maintain system stability. REQUIRED COMPETENCIES - Very good knowledge of Java (version 17 and higher). - Knowledge of object-oriented design patterns. - Knowledge of the Spring stack, particularly MVC and Data. - Practical and in-depth knowledge of Elasticsearch. - Knowledge of Redis. - Ability to design relational (MS SQL, Oracle) and non-relational (Elasticsearch, Redis) databases. - Knowledge of Apache Kafka. - Knowledge of English enabling the use of technical documentation (min. B2). - Fluent knowledge of Polish. - High communication skills and the ability to think analytically and creatively in problem-solving. - Experience in independent planning and execution of tests. - Experience in delivering services within projects conducted in an agile model (Scrum), with a distributed team of specialists. Nice to have: - Experience as a Tech Lead. - Knowledge of scripting languages JavaScript (React) and Python. - Experience working in the Azure cloud environment. - Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker platforms. - Ability to design system architecture by developing HLD. - Knowledge of UML and flow diagrams.
