Senior Java Developer

Job Description Business Changers is looking for Java developers who can help us implement complex and high-quality systems. In this role you will be involved in implementing new application functionalities, in the design and implementation of workflows related to a series of new innovative projects. Your responsibilities will include: - Implementing new software modules independently, but within a structured team. - Contribute to the design and ideation of new architectures/prototypes. - Collaborate effectively with the functional analysis team and the testing team, in order to guarantee maximum information sharing. - Create quality code that is easily maintainable. - Follow best practices and code writing standards throughout the entire software development process, improving best practices where possible. - Develop and maintain microservices using Spring Boot and related technologies. - Optimize application performance and scalability to handle high-volume transactions. - Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge within the team. - Find, debug, and resolve complex technical problems in production environments. - Keep up with emerging technologies and industry trends, suggesting improvements to our technology stack, when appropriate. - Mentor junior developers and contribute to the technical growth of the team. - Collaborate with DevOps to streamline deployment processes and improve system reliability. Qualifications The required skills are: - At least 5 years of experience in Java development (Spring) - In-depth experience in Spring Boot and Hibernate - Experience in the development and distribution of microservices architectures - Strong competence in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL) - Familiarity with application servers, in particular JBoss - Experience in the design and implementation of RESTful APIs - Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Scrum teams - Familiarity with containerization technologies, such as Docker - Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines (CI/CD) - Fluent Italian and good knowledge of English - Positive and proactive attitude - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team - Willingness to grow professionally and stay updated on emerging technologies Additional Information Business Changers is a company born in the third millennium that: - Has a collaborative and informal corporate culture that leaves room for individual creativity - Strongly believes in rewarding merit - Cares about the growth and continuous training of people - Intends to act in a socially responsible manner towards the Italian system
