Senior Java Developer

What will you be dealing with? For our client, we are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer who will support the modernization of a key trading platform used mainly to handle transactions such as swaps and FRA. The current system is a complex, legacy monolithic application responsible for the entire process of transaction management — from trade registration, through validation, acceptance, affirmation, event handling in the transaction lifecycle, pricing, termination, settlement, and finally, settlement. The goal is to replace this outdated system with a modern, scalable, and maintainable solution that will meet the growing demands of our client's business. The ideal candidate should have experience in designing and developing large-scale Java applications, as well as knowledge of relevant technologies such as Spring, Hibernate, and Apache Kafka. He or she should also be familiar with Agile development methodologies and have experience working in a team environment. In addition to technical skills, the successful candidate will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate their expertise through examples of previous projects or contributions to open-source initiatives.
