The Role at a Glance •Senior Java Backend Engineer •Fully remote for a top N. American bank (for residents of Poland only) •Openings on multiple projects, including financial trading systems and risk management platforms •Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, and deploy software solutions •Work closely with data scientists, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality results •Stay up-to-date with the latest Java technologies and best practices •Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the overall code quality •Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge and expertise •Contribute to the development of new features and enhancements for existing systems •Work on a variety of projects, including financial trading systems, risk management platforms, and other applications •Develop software solutions that meet the needs of our clients and stakeholders •Collaborate with colleagues to identify and prioritize technical debt and implement improvements •Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies •Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge •Work on a variety of projects, including financial trading systems, risk management platforms, and other applications •Develop software solutions that meet the needs of our clients and stakeholders
