Senior Java Backend Engineer

Role Overview We are looking for a Senior Java Backend Engineer who is passionate about building scalable backend systems, enjoys solving real-world problems, and takes ownership of their work. You will work closely with US-based engineering team through our outsourcing partner. Key Responsibilities • Design and develop high-performance REST APIs and backend services. • Implement server-side business logic for real-time and batch data processing. • Design and optimize SQL and NoSQL database schema to ensure efficient data retrieval and storage. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and QA to deliver high-quality solutions. • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of existing codebases. • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in Java and related technologies. • Develop and maintain technical documentation for internal use. • Work closely with the engineering team to identify and prioritize technical debt, and implement fixes as needed. • Ensure compliance with company coding standards and guidelines. • Participate in on-call rotation and provide support during business hours.
