The focus of the task lies in the independent development of backend components within an Azure AKS environment as well as in the continuous development of Enterprise-Content-Management-Systems in an agile project environment.

Your tasks

• Independent Java development of components for complex backend applications in an Azure AKS environment

• Development and optimization of an existing Doxis ECM environment

• Participation in the setup and operation of a global document management system for industrial insurance applications

• Application of GoF patterns, Cloud Design Patterns, SOLID principles, and Clean Code standards in daily development

• Design, implementation, and testing of REST APIs

• Conducting unit and integration tests to ensure the highest quality standards

• Development and administration of database structures under Oracle and SQL Server

• Conducting code reviews and applying DevSecOps practices

• Active participation in an agile team according to Scrum or SAFe methodology

Must requirements

• Expert knowledge in Java, GoF patterns, Cloud Design Patterns, SOLID principles, Clean Code, and Secure coding practices

• Expert knowledge in REST API design, implementation, and testing

• Expert knowledge in unit and integration testing

• Expert knowledge in databases (Oracle, SQL Server)

• Knowledge in the introduction and context of Enterprise Content Management (ECM) or Document Management Systems (DMS)

• Knowledge in code review methodology

• Knowledge in DevSecOps practices

• Basic knowledge of HTML

• Strong agile mindset and experience with Scrum-based development (ideally in the SAFe context)

• Strong communication skills, particularly the ability to explain technical matters to various stakeholders

• Very high level of self-initiative and solution-oriented thinking and acting in complex situations

• A true team player, even in a remote context

• High personal quality standards

• Fluent in German and good/communicative in English

Desired requirements

• Knowledge in the context of the software Doxis

• Experience with application servers like Tomcat or Wildfly

Further information

The location is Hannover with a planned presence of 30 on-site days during the project period. A hybrid work model is planned.
