Senior Java API Developer (Spring Boot | Payment)

We are looking for a highly skilled API Developer for a 7 months contract to design, build, and maintain secure, scalable APIs that support digital platforms and payment systems. You will play a key role in enabling system integration and driving modern microservices-based architecture within a fast-paced environment. Qualifications Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices Build and maintain scalable, secure, and efficient APIs that support payment systems and digital platforms Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize API requirements Develop and maintain technical documentation for APIs and microservices Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices Troubleshoot and resolve API-related issues and errors. Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field 5+ years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining RESTful APIs and microservices Strong understanding of Java, Spring Boot, and related technologies Experience with API design, development, and testing using tools such as Postman, Swagger, or API Gateway Strong understanding of microservices architecture, design principles, and best practices Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems such as Git Experience with cloud-based technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing Experience with security and compliance frameworks such as OWASP, PCI-DSS, and GDPR.
