In our team, the (Senior) IT Systems Engineer will take on a mix of daily tasks: setting up laptops and smartphones, managing SaaS tools, keeping security standards in mind, and exciting projects: introducing new systems, building automations, and bringing our IT security to the next level. Whether it's hardware, mobile device management, software administration or process optimization, you'll be both an admin and architect of a seamless IT experience.

Tasks

• You manage our complete hardware fleet (laptops, smartphones, accessories) from setup to replacement.
• You set up and manage mobile devices via MDM.
• You administer our SaaS systems (e.g. Microsoft 365, Atlassian).
• You ensure that security standards are met (e.g. MFA, password policies, updates).
• You're the first point of contact for our team when it comes to IT questions, remote and on-site.
• You work on projects like system migrations, automations, and security upgrades.
• You bring in new ideas on how we can make our IT landscape smarter, faster, and more secure.

Qualification

• You're familiar with Windows, macOS, or both, and are open to learning new things.
• You're tech-savvy, like to try out new things, and find solutions when something doesn't work.
• You have an eye for security and know that strong passwords & updates aren't just annoying but important.
• You enjoy taking initiative, assuming responsibility, and being the interface between various internal and external contacts.
• You can clearly communicate with colleagues who don't speak German or English, or with other IT enthusiasts.
• You speak fluent German and have good English skills to navigate software & docs.
