Aufgaben

Your Tasks: Network Consulting, Concept & Implementation

To strengthen our department Professional Services, we are looking for a System Engineer (m/w/d), who not only creates concepts but also actively implements them near the customer. You are the technical interface between strategic conception and operational implementation.

• Consulting & Analysis: Consulting and taking up requirements to create optimal network solutions in wired and/or Wi-Fi environments for our public end customers.
• Concept: Creation and sizing of modern network infrastructures as well as development of tailored migration concepts.
• Implementation & Commissioning: Conducting network migrations and the professional commissioning of new systems in existing customer environments.
• Sustained Support: Professional guidance and continuous technical further development of our end customers.

Qualification

Your Profile: Network Expert with Macher-Mentalität

You bring fundamental experience in the network environment and have no fear of complex infrastructures. As a professional in the field of Network, you are a designer who delivers practical solutions.

Technical Requirements:

• Educational Background: Completed IT-oriented education (e.g. Fachinformatiker Systemintegration) or equivalent studies.
• Manufacturer Expertise: Experience with manufacturers like HPE Aruba, Dell or Extreme Networks as well as interest in getting familiar with new technologies.
• Network Know-how: Very good knowledge of the areas Campus- (LAN & WLAN), Core- or Datacenter networks or additional experience in conducting Wi-Fi surveys on site.
• Safety & Innovation: Knowledge in network security (NAC solutions, segmentation concepts) as well as first experiences with network virtualization or automation.

Soft Skills & Personality:

• Self-Initiative: You structure your work independently and keep an overview even in complex projects.
• Communication Strength: You can explain technical matters to non-technical people.
• Learning Readiness: You enjoy getting familiar with new features and manufacturer solutions.
• Travel Readiness: Willingness for on-site installations and customer meetings in the federal states of Bavaria, Hesse, Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland.
