We are looking for a Senior IT-Security Architect for a project in the banking sector. In this role, you will support the build-up of a modern IT-Security architecture on an enterprise level and accompany the implementation of regulatory requirements within a complex IT landscape.

Your tasks

• IT analysis of the necessary technical and regulatory requirements

• Identification of the effects of technical requirements or regulatory changes on operational and dispositional IT systems

• Documentation of technical requirements through the creation of detailed technical concepts

• Translation of technical requirements into IT-near concepts

• Consulting on the IT implementation of the technically defined requirements

• Conducting training to build the IT-Security architecture on an enterprise architecture level, as well as imparting TOGAF and Technology Business Management (TBM)

• Consulting on the principles and methods of a modern IT-Security architecture

• Consulting on the selection of relevant domains, subdomains, and capabilities for the optimal structuring of all security-relevant areas

• Creation of a list of views and levels of the architecture as a basis for further development, taking into account stakeholders and regulatory requirements

• Identification and evaluation of relevant frameworks for the IT-Security architecture (e.g. MITRE, NIS2) and definition of the steps for their integration into the overall architecture

Must-requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in IT-Security architecture

• Proven experience in creating an IT-Security architecture for financial institutions according to TOGAF

• In-depth knowledge of bank-specific regulations (e.g. DORA, ISO27002) and their integration into the architecture

• Knowledge of current statutory requirements and their impact on the IT-Security architecture

• Proficient handling of Technology Business Management (TBM) to depict the architecture on technical requirements

• Fundamentally knowledgeable in requirements analysis, methodically supported business process analysis (e.g. according to BPMN) and technical data modeling

• Practical experience in designing IT-Security systems

• Very good technical expertise in the areas of Security Monitoring, Security Incident Management, and Vulnerability Management

• Fundamentally knowledgeable in configuring and operating firewalls (preferably Fortigate, Cisco, or Checkpoint)

• Technical expertise in the domains of Asset Management, Network Security, and Threat Intelligence

Can-requirements

• Basic knowledge for (part-time) project management of smaller and medium-sized projects

• Experience in evaluating and integrating frameworks like MITRE or NIS2
