Senior IT Services Lead (m/f/d)

For our headquarters in Heidelberg, we are looking for you on a full-time basis (40 hours) as soon as possible as a Senior IT Services Lead (m/f/d) with up to two days of mobile office option per week.

• You will assume the technical leadership of the IT Services team, act as a technical sparring partner for the team and the IT Manager, and ensure smooth daily operations and reliable service delivery.
• If necessary, you will work hands-on in IT support, assist with complex requests and IT incidents, and actively contribute your technical expertise.
• You will coordinate and prioritize the team's tasks, ensuring clear responsibilities, balanced task distribution, and reliable cover.
• You will continuously develop IT service processes, standards, and documentation, and identify potential for standardization and automation.
• You will identify recurring problems and inefficient workflows and implement sustainable improvements for service quality and efficiency.
• You will work closely with the IT Manager on priorities, escalations, and improvement initiatives, taking on the operational coordination of the team.

• You have a degree or vocational training in an IT environment or comparable practical experience, and at least 5 years of professional experience in IT Services, IT Operations, or IT Support - ideally with experience in the technical leadership of a team.
• You combine in-depth technical expertise with a hands-on mentality and enjoy both developing solutions yourself and providing technical support to others.
• You have experience with IT Service Management, Ticket and Request Management, as well as documentation and process standards.
• You can set priorities, coordinate workloads, and ensure reliable service delivery even in a dynamic environment.
• You have good knowledge of Workplace IT, Identity & Access Management, Endpoint Management, and SaaS applications.
• You have experience in optimizing processes and identifying potential for standardization, automation, and efficiency improvements.
• You have very good German and English skills, both written and spoken.
