Senior IT Security Specialist (m/f/d)

You have already seen several security projects.
Some went exactly as planned. Others have probably taught you more than any certification.
That's exactly why this role could be exciting for you.
For an internationally oriented company in a highly regulated industry with several thousand employees, we are looking for an experienced personality in the field of IT Security.
The role was not created because security is "also somehow important".
But because the responsible IT Security Team Lead is now responsible for so many topics that he wants to delegate some of them to experienced hands.
We are therefore not looking for someone who processes tickets or ticks boxes in audits.
We are looking for someone who wants to take responsibility.

Your Tasks

Your everyday life will be somewhere between operational security, cloud security, and project work.

Among other things, this includes:

• Security reviews of new systems, applications, and technologies
• Cloud security in the Azure and GCP environment
• Incident management
• Further development of the security landscape
• Processing of findings from audits
• Security projects in an international environment
• Collaboration with infrastructure, cloud, and application teams

There are currently many new topics and changes emerging. Accordingly, there are ample opportunities to contribute your own experience and help shape things.
Your Profile

We are aware that no one perfectly meets every requirement.
More important is:

• Several years of experience in IT Security
• Experience with cloud technologies and cloud security is a must-have
• IT security projects driven independently
• Very good German and good English skills
• Desire to take responsibility
• Curiosity, team spirit, and interest in new topics and technologies
