Senior IT Security Administrator (m/f/d)

Introduction

For an insurance services company in the North Germany region, we are looking for a Senior IT Security Administrator (m/f/d) for permanent employment.

In this role, you will take on both operational and strategic responsibility in IT security and actively shape the company's security architecture.


Your Tasks

  • Operation and further development of security solutions as well as conducting vulnerability assessments and penetration tests
  • Management of identities, authorizations, and access concepts (IAM/PAM)
  • Monitoring and securing cloud environments (e.g., Microsoft Azure) and hybrid infrastructures
  • Further development and maintenance of a company-wide IT security strategy and roadmap
  • Creation and updating of security concepts, policies, and standards (e.g., ISMS according to ISO 27001)
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., DORA, GDPR, NIS2)


Your Profile

  • Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or comparable qualification with relevant professional experience
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in IT Security/Cybersecurity, including at least 2 years in a senior or lead role
  • In-depth knowledge in network security, endpoint security, cloud security, IAM/PAM, SIEM, and vulnerability management
  • Proven experience with security frameworks such as ISO 27001 or BSI IT-Grundschutz
  • Knowledge of current threat landscapes, attack vectors, and countermeasures
  • Very good German language skills for complex technical discussions
