Senior IT Project Manager / Technical Consultant (m/f/d)

You will work closely with the management, specialized departments, and technical managers of our clients. Our consulting and engineering team will support you with professional sparring and development expertise.

Responsibilities

You will take operational responsibility for digitalization and software projects – from initial requirements gathering to implementation. You will combine technical depth with economic thinking and reliable project management.

• Clarify Requirements: You will analyze processes, systems, and data flows, and bring together the needs of various specialist departments.
• Evaluate Solutions: You will compare standard software, integrations, and in-house development in terms of benefits, costs, maintainability, and scalability.
• Manage Implementation: You will develop prioritized roadmaps, define work packages, and coordinate stakeholders, dependencies, and decisions.
• Ensure Results: You will support implementation and acceptance, document knowledge, and prepare the handover to internal teams.
• Use AI Meaningfully: You will identify potential for automation, taking into account quality, data protection, and security.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in technical project management, IT consulting, or a comparable role with independently managed software or integration projects.
• Own software development experience and a solid understanding of data models, APIs, architecture, and sustainable software operations.
• Strong analytical skills: You translate unclear requirements into understandable processes, traceable decisions, and actionable steps.
• Understanding of enterprise software, especially the interplay of CRM, back office, customer service, and reporting.
• Economic judgment: You prioritize based on benefits, effort, and risks, and can weigh in-house development against purchasing.
• Independence and commitment: You obtain missing information, follow up on open issues, and provide orientation amidst changing requirements.
• Confident communication in German with management, specialist departments, and developers, as well as practical understanding of AI and automation.

Additional advantages include experience with growing companies, CRM/ERP implementations, corporate groups, AI-assisted development, or automation platforms such as n8n, Make, and Zapier.
