We are looking for you as a team member of our department IT Service & Project Management at the location Bochum. Become part of the thinkGROUP and support us as Senior IT-Project Manager (m/w/d).

Aufgaben

• Leadership of national and international strategic projects
• Creation of project plans, maintenance, and ensuring timely implementation
• Promoting projects with a focus on time, quality, and costs
• Reporting to department management/business leadership
• Fuelling escalations at the management level
• Professional support and coaching of project managers
• Creating robust decision-making bases
• Shaping IT concepts from which IT projects arise
• Leadership of larger tenders and coordination with various departmental teams
• Caring for customers after the project transition phase
• Suggestions for adapting existing minimum requirements for project planning, status, and risk documentation based on practical project experience

Qualifikation

• A successful business administration degree or a commercial education with relevant work experience in the project field
• Multiproject experience, coaching competence
• Experience in the IT industry desired
• Long-term project experience, escalation security, budget responsibility
• Self-assured, entrepreneurial behavior
• Program management experience desired
• A high degree of reliability
• Linguistic skills in German and basic knowledge of English
• Excellent communication skills
• Knowledge in the areas of PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMP or comparable is advantageous
