Responsibilities

• Administration, conception, and further development of IT and OT infrastructures in industrial environments
• Administration and implementation of firewalls from various manufacturers, especially Cisco, Fortinet, Sophos, Stormshield, and Hirschmann
• Administration and optimization of IT/OT networks based on Cisco, Hirschmann, LANCOM, Huawei, and other network components
• Conception and implementation of OT network architectures and segmentation according to the Purdue Model
• Planning, setup, and administration of OT DMZ infrastructures
• Implementation and administration of network and host monitoring solutions, e.g., CheckMK, Security Onion, Trisul, HiVision, and WhatsUp Gold
• Administration and security of Active Directory environments in the IT and OT sectors
• Administration of Windows and Linux systems as well as database environments (MS SQL, MySQL)
• Administration and security of SCADA, MES, and PDMS systems, especially GE Fanuc Proficy iFIX and Siemens PCS7
• Planning and implementation of Industrial Cyber Security measures
• Conducting and supporting security assessments, risk analyses, and hardening measures according to established standards and best practices
• Implementation of CIS Hardening Guidelines in IT/OT environments
• Development and introduction of cyber security processes, such as Incident Response, Risk Management, and Technical Design Authority
• Conception and implementation of IT/OT interfaces and security concepts
• Support for the integration of SIEM, Asset Discovery, network, and host monitoring solutions
• Accompanying system and infrastructure updates as well as migrations in production-critical environments
• Technical consulting and support for customers and project teams in the field of OT Security and industrial network technology
• Creation and maintenance of technical documentation, guidelines, and test procedures

Qualifications

• Completed degree or training in IT, network technology, automation technology, electrical engineering, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in the administration and conception of IT/OT infrastructures
• Sound knowledge of network and firewall technologies
• Experience in Industrial Cyber Security / OT Security
• Very good knowledge of Windows and Linux system administration
• Experience with Active Directory and network/host monitoring
• Knowledge of industrial systems and protocols as well as experience with SCADA, MES, and process control systems
• Experience in network segmentation and securing industrial environments
• Knowledge of the Purdue Enterprise Reference Architecture Model
• Experience with security frameworks, hardening guidelines, and risk and incident management
