Senior IT Network Administrator (w/m/d)

Tasks

• Maintenance and development of the network landscape (LAN/WLAN/WAN including VPN/MPLS)
• Management and configuration of modern security solutions (Firewalls, Network Access Control, Security Monitoring, VPN-Clients)
• Analysis and processing of security incidents in collaboration with partners
• Monitoring and optimization of the IT environment to ensure stable operations
• Support for internal teams on technical questions and disturbances
• Accompaniment of IT projects, e.g. introduction of new security or network solutions
• Satisfaction of compliance and quality standards in IT
• Processing of service requests and incidents to continuous improvement of operations

Qualification

• Completed IT training or technical studies
• At least 5 years of experience in the network and security field
• In-depth knowledge of network administration, firewalling, and IT security
• Experience with structured IT processes (e.g. ITIL)
• Analytical and service-oriented working style
• Very good German and English skills
