Aufgaben

• Responsibility for operating, developing, and optimizing data center and server infrastructure based on Nutanix HCI
• Conceptualization and implementation of modern network architectures in LAN-, WAN-, and SD-WAN environments including routing, firewalling, and VPN
• Building and further development of hybrid cloud solutions based on Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365
• Automation of infrastructure and deployment processes using Infrastructure as Code and scripting
• Ensuring IT security standards across server-, network-, and cloud environments
• Processing complex incidents and changes in 2nd- and 3rd-level support, as well as participating in infrastructure and transformation projects

Qualifikation

• Degree in computer science, business informatics, or comparable education or several years of professional experience in the infrastructure field
• Experience operating complex data center-, server-, and virtualization environments, ideally with Nutanix HCI
• Knowledge of modern network technologies such as routing, switching, firewalling, VPN, and SD-WAN
• Expertise in building and operating hybrid cloud environments, particularly in the Microsoft Azure environment
• Understanding of IT security topics such as identity & access management, hardening, vulnerability-, and patch-management
• Work style characterized by self-responsibility, solution-oriented thinking, and very good German and English skills
