Senior IT Infrastructure Consultant (m/w/d)

Tasks

• Strategic consulting of our customers on the conception, development, and modernization of their IT architectures.
• Independent analysis of existing IT landscapes and derivation of sustainable optimization and migration strategies.
• Architecture, design, and implementation of hybrid and cloud-based IT solutions with a focus on Microsoft Azure.
• Planning, integration, and operation of network, security, and cloud solutions (e.g. firewalls, backup, storage, and virtualization solutions).
• Creation of technical overall concepts, specifications, and loadable offer calculations with manufacturers and partners.
• Building, leading, and further developing interdisciplinary project teams.
• Proactive stakeholder and communication management at customer and management levels.
• Taking over the technical and organizational leadership in critical project or disruption situations (e.g. major incidents, security breaches).

Qualification

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable IT education with several years of relevant professional experience.
• Long-term experience in the conception, implementation, and responsibility for complex IT infrastructure and cloud projects.
• Outstanding expertise in the following areas:
• IT infrastructure architectures based on Microsoft
• Microsoft Azure (design, integration, operation)
• Network technologies
• IT security and firewall technologies
• Strategic, analytical, and entrepreneurial thinking
• Very high customer- and service-orientedness as well as sovereign appearance at management level
• Very good German language skills
• Class B driver's license
