YOUR MISSION

As a Senior IT Architect (m/f/d), you will shape the technical future of our healthcare solutions. You will analyze complex requirements in the context of statutory health insurance and develop secure, scalable, and sustainable IT architectures from them. You will take on technical and functional responsibility for architectural decisions and accompany their implementation together with development teams and stakeholders.

Your tasks

• Development and technical conception of modern solution architectures in the GKV (statutory health insurance) environment

• Responsibility for architectural decisions as well as definition of architectural standards and technical guardrails

• Analysis of functional and technical requirements and their translation into future-proof solution designs

• Ensuring IT security, data protection, and compliance requirements in the healthcare environment

• Consulting project teams and stakeholders on technical issues

• Accompanying technical implementation and support for complex architectural topics

• Evaluation and introduction of suitable technologies, frameworks, and architectural approaches

• Identification of optimization potentials in existing system landscapes

• Evaluation and use of innovative technologies such as AI for the further development of processes and solutions

WHAT IS IMPORTANT TO US

• Sound knowledge of modern software architectures and experience with Java-/JEE-based enterprise applications

• Experience in the technical conception of complex application systems and with integration and interface architectures, e.g., REST or SOAP

• Experience with cloud and container technologies such as Kubernetes, OpenShift, or Docker

• In-depth experience in the statutory health insurance (GKV) environment and a good understanding of the requirements of the healthcare system

• Knowledge of handling sensitive data and regulatory requirements in a correspondingly protected environment

• Very good German language skills in speaking and writing (C2 level)

Nice to have:

• Experience with Secure Coding, API Security, or comparable security standards

• Knowledge in UML modeling, requirements engineering, or architectural methods such as iSAQB

• Experience with AI solutions in a regulated environment, ideally in healthcare
