For our group of companies, we are looking for in the area of IT Application Development for the earliest possible start date: (Senior) IT Application Developer (m/f/d).

What you will achieve with us:

• For projects in the area of our in-house merchandise management system, you will create implementation concepts and take responsibility for their execution. A guided and thorough introduction to the existing system and application landscape will enable you to confidently take on implementations and gradually build competence and knowledge.

• You are keen to acquire knowledge of modern application architectures and interface technologies and use them in IT projects. You will be supported by a team where you will find commitment, but above all a positive and collegial working environment.

• You will continuously analyze and evaluate the applications and processes you manage and initiate improvements and modernizations.

What defines you:

• With a successfully completed degree in computer science, comparable training, or through many years of professional experience, you have acquired detailed knowledge of modern software engineering methods and database technologies.

• You have extensive experience in software development on IBM Power i with very good knowledge of RPG (RPG IV, Free-/Fully-Free-RPG), SQL, and CL.

• You bring know-how in IBM DB2 for i (DDS and SQL), including database design.

• You are curious, like to stay up-to-date professionally, and enjoy working in a team. 

• You have good communication skills coupled with good German (min. B2) and English skills.
