Senior IT Administrator (w/m/d)

The CDH computing GmbH is an IT service provider with a focus on infrastructure, networks, cloud services, and comprehensive system maintenance for companies. We are growing strongly and expanding our team in the area of system administration and IT operations.

Tasks

• Administration and further development of Windows server landscapes, Active Directory, group policies, and virtual environments
• Maintenance and expansion of network and security infrastructure (firewall, switches, WLAN, VPN)
• Planning, implementation, and documentation of IT projects (migrations, rollouts, modernization of environments)
• Analysis and troubleshooting of complex issues (2nd/3rd level) as well as technical support for the field service
• Participation in standardizing, automating, and optimizing internal and external IT processes
• Technical consulting for our customers and close coordination with management and customer representatives

Qualification

• Multiple years of professional experience in system administration or comparable IT roles
• Very good knowledge of Windows servers, AD, M365, networks, and virtualization (Hyper-V or VMware)
• Experience in operating firewalls, backup solutions, and monitoring systems
• Safe demeanor, high problem-solving orientation, and structured work style
• Pleasure in direct customer contact as well as complex technical challenges
• Certifications (e.g. Microsoft, Fortinet, VMware) are advantageous but not necessarily required
