Aufgaben

• You install, configure, and manage Windows Server operating systems
• The administration of Windows servers is part of your daily routine, as is the management of Active Directory and the assignment of group policies
• You oversee virtual server environments based on VMware ESXi and take care of the provision, scaling, and optimization of VMs
• In addition, you configure, monitor, and maintain storage systems like SAN and NAS reliably and correct errors
• You also conduct backups – ideally with Veeam – in a routine manner and ensure high data availability
• You implement and monitor security measures such as access controls, encryption, and patch management responsibly at the server and storage level

Qualifikation

• Idealistically, you have completed a degree in computer science or a comparable qualification
• You approach problems systematically with your structured and analytical thinking and find practical solutions
• You bring your knowledge of network architecture and administration – particularly in the areas of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and firewalls – into play confidently
• Your service-oriented demeanor, high communication and team skills, and a keen sense of information security round out your profile
