Senior IoT/Cloud Engineer (f/m/d)

Our Sport Products division is looking for a Senior IoT/Cloud Engineer (f/m/d) on a permanent contract based in Lille or Paris.

The "Connected Products" team is at the heart of innovation at Decathlon. Our mission? To design a complete technical stack, from the connected object to the Cloud, to offer an augmented sports experience to our global users. Composed of passionate experts, our team tackles major technological challenges related to data scalability and reliability. YOUR FUTURE CONTRIBUTION

In an agile and collaborative environment, you will play a technical reference role to propel our CSP Core IoT platform. Your responsibilities include:

• Quality Engineering: Design, develop, and deliver clean, tested, and maintained code, while ensuring deadlines are met.

• Technical Leadership: Guide the team in developing new features and implementing high-performance REST APIs.

• Operational Excellence: Follow best engineering practices to achieve the highest standards of our product maturity matrix.

• Architecture & Scalability: Design reusable components and anticipate the scaling and reliability of our Cloud solutions.

• Watch & Improvement: Use operational data and industry trends to suggest continuous stability and performance optimizations.
  
  

TECHNICAL STACK

• Cloud: AWS IoT Core, Lambda, S3, Serverless.

• Backend: Java, Spring Boot.

• Infrastructure & CI/CD: Terraform, Containers (Kubernetes), GitHub, GitHub Actions.

• Data & Messaging: Postgres, Kafka, Messaging Queues.
  
  

WHAT YOU BRING

• Confirmed expertise in the IoT domain, with in-depth mastery of AWS IoT Core.

• The ability to design robust and scalable technical architectures.

• Technical proficiency to work on Kubernetes.

• Experience in functional animation (pair programming, code reviews) to help the team grow.
