Tasks

This is what we expect from you at our company…

• As a (Senior) IoT Specialist, you will be responsible for the technical implementation of complex, enterprise-wide IoT and Big Data solutions. You will design the architecture, lead the implementation, and optimize scalable data platforms – from conception to productive operation.
• You will lead end-to-end projects in the IoT field and be responsible for both the technical implementation and quality assurance.
• You will plan, conceptualize, and implement IoT and Data Analytics solutions for our customers in production, energy, infrastructure, and smart city applications.
• In addition to leading and coaching internal teams, you will support customers in implementing and developing IoT platforms.
• As the main point of contact for customers, you will accompany complex integrations and ensure the long-term operation and further development of the solutions.
• You will develop and optimize data visualizations and dashboards at a high level and take responsibility for scalability and performance.
• You will actively participate in developing solutions yourself, if necessary.

Qualification

This is what you bring with you…

• Multiple years of experience in IoT, Data Engineering, and Big Data Analytics, ideally with leadership responsibility in projects.
• In-depth knowledge of frontend and backend technologies: Angular.js, React.js, Node.js, HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Extensive experience with IoT platforms like ThingsBoard, EMQX, HiveMQ or comparable solutions.
• Very good knowledge of databases and streaming technologies: PostgreSQL, Cassandra, InfluxDB, Apache Kafka, Redpanda, Trino.
• Expertise in cloud services, REST APIs, and integrating heterogeneous IoT systems.
• Profund experience in data visualization, BI tools, and developing complex dashboards and reporting solutions.
• Extensive experience with IoT protocols: LoRaWAN, OPC-UA, MQTT, and Industrial IoT Use Cases.
• Outstanding analytical skills, problem-solving competence, and experience in technical customer support at a senior level.
• Ideal experience in strategic consulting, architectural decisions, and technical project leadership.
• Hands-on mentality: You are not afraid to develop solutions yourself if necessary.
