Senior International Tax Services

Forvis Mazars Mexico is seeking an International Tax Senior to join our growing International Tax Services practice. This role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about cross-border taxation, technical problem-solving, and supporting multinational clients in navigating complex tax challenges. As an ITS Senior, your primary mission is to ensure that clients’ international operations remain fully compliant with Mexican and global tax regulations while helping identify opportunities to optimize their tax positions. **Key Responsibilities:** * Manage and execute international tax engagements, including tax planning, compliance, and consulting projects. * Conduct in-depth research on international tax laws, regulations, and treaties to advise clients. * Prepare and review complex international tax calculations and filings. * Assist clients with structuring cross-border transactions in a tax-efficient manner. * Develop and maintain strong client relationships, providing proactive and responsive service. * Collaborate with other tax and consulting professionals to deliver integrated solutions. * Mentor and train junior team members. * Stay informed on current tax developments and proactively communicate relevant information to clients and colleagues. **Qualifications:** * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CTA) preferred. * Minimum of 3+ years of experience in international tax, with a focus on cross-border transactions and US tax. * Strong technical knowledge of US international tax rules (e.g., Subpart F, GILTI, BEAT, FDII) and experience with Mexican tax regulations. * Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Fluency in English and Spanish (written and spoken). **What We Offer:** * Competitive salary and benefits package. * Opportunities for professional growth and development. * A collaborative and supportive work environment. * Exposure to a diverse range of clients and industries. * The opportunity to work with a leading international tax services practice. **About Forvis Mazars** Forvis Mazars is a leading global professional services network, providing audit, tax, and advisory services.
