Senior Internal Auditor (m/f/d)

As an Internal Auditor (m/f/d), you will report directly to our Managing Director Market Operations and the Chief Audit Executive DACH of our group parent company within a matrix structure.

Your Areas of Responsibility Are

• Execution of independent audit activities based on the audit plan and creation of audit reports
• Support in the risk-oriented creation and maintenance of the multi-year and annual audit plan
• Preparation, coordination, supervision, and follow-up of internal and external audits
• Creation of action plans as well as deficiency tracking plans and follow-up of deficiency remediation
• Support in the preparation of reports for management and partners, such as annual and quarterly reports
• Close cooperation with the Head of Internal Audit and Group Audit

• Sound audit knowledge, e.g., with experience at an external auditing firm or an internal audit department
• In-depth understanding of the payment processing business or similar areas in the financial sector
• Extensive experience with compliance audits, process audits, IT audits of applications, general IT controls, and projects
• Knowledge of risk management and the Three Lines of Defense model
• Experience in German and European regulation of payment transactions and/or the banking sector (ZAG, GWG, BDSG, EBA Guidelines, BaFin Circulars, DORA)
• Very good negotiation and communication skills in German and English, both written and spoken
• You are persistent and detail-oriented without losing sight of the big picture. You are able to present the essential information at management level
• An analytical and structured way of working rounds off your profile.
