Job description

We’re seeking a Senior or Intermediate Fire Engineer to join a highly regarded consultancy, delivering innovative and practical fire engineering solutions across a wide range of building projects.

What you’ll be doing:

Lead and manage multiple projects from design to delivery
Develop efficient, buildable fire engineering designs and reports
Carry out site inspections and provide technical advice
Mentor and support junior engineers
Collaborate with architects, builders, councils, and other consultants

What we’re looking for:

6+ years’ relevant fire engineering experience
Strong knowledge of NZ Building Code, standards, and fire systems
Excellent report writing and communication skills
Ability to manage client relationships and generate repeat work
A tertiary qualification in Engineering (Fire / Civil / Structural background)
