Senior Insurance Dispute Resolution Lead

An established industry player is seeking a seasoned professional to represent its long-term insurance division. This pivotal role involves engaging with Ombudsman offices and regulatory authorities, focusing on alternative dispute resolution and legal guidance. The successful candidate will enhance client service, ensure compliance, and foster positive industry relationships. Key Responsibilities: * Lead and manage the resolution of complex insurance disputes, ensuring fair and timely outcomes. * Act as the primary point of contact for Ombudsman offices and regulatory bodies. * Provide expert advice on insurance law, regulations, and industry best practices. * Develop and implement strategies to prevent and resolve disputes efficiently. * Represent the company in mediations, arbitrations, and other dispute resolution forums. * Analyze dispute trends and identify areas for improvement in processes and policies. * Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including claims, underwriting, and legal teams. * Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. * Prepare and present reports to senior management on dispute resolution activities and outcomes. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in law, business, or a related field; Juris Doctor (JD) preferred. * Significant experience in insurance dispute resolution, preferably in a leadership role. * In-depth knowledge of insurance law, regulations, and industry standards. * Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. * Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Proven ability to manage and resolve complex disputes effectively. * Experience working with Ombudsman offices and regulatory bodies.
