My client – a modern service company with over 20,000 employees – is in the midst of a comprehensive digital transformation, where High Code KI-Lösungen are becoming a central lever for efficiency, automation, and new value creation. The company is building a professional and scalable AI organization – with clear structures for AI Strategy, Portfolio-Management, Data- & Tech Enablement, and Delivery.

In the heart of this structure stands an AI Hub, which together with departments and technical units identifies and realizes High Code Use Cases – KI solutions that require genuine model architecture, data pipelines, integrations into core systems, and productive deployments. Based on this, Leuchtturmprojekte emerge, which further develop the organization technologically and professionally – and exactly here is where your role begins.

As a Senior Inhouse Consultant KI-Projekte, you shape the most strategically relevant High Code KI initiatives from the start. You bring structure, clarity, and decision-making ability to projects whose technological and professional complexity far exceeds simple automation.

Your tasks include:

• Analyse and structuring of complex High Code Use Cases (e.g., advanced ML models, AI-based decision logics, processes with system integration)
• Responsibility for selected Leuchtturmprojekte: vision, business case, roadmap, steering, and evaluation
• Strategic consulting to senior management on the potential and limitations of technically demanding KI solutions
• Moderation of workshops, prioritizations, and portfolio decisions
• Steering interdisciplinary project teams from data scientists, data engineers, architects, IT, and departments
• Translation of technical requirements into clear, understandable business storylines for management
• Co-shaping the KI-Operating Model: standards, methodology, governance, responsibilities
• Safeguarding a structured end-to-end approach – from idea to MVP to productive use

Qualification

Erfahrungshintergrund (zielgerichtet breit):

• Tier-1 or Tier-2 strategy consulting
• Inhouse Consulting, Corporate Strategy, or Transformation units
• Alternative: Product Owner/Product Manager with experience in data-intensive or KI-related products
• Experience in steering complex digital or analytics projects is an advantage

Fachlich-methodische Kernkompetenzen:

• Excellent conceptual and structuring abilities
• Fundamental understanding of how High Code KI solutions arise (e.g., data pipelines, model training, evaluation, deployment, integration) – without needing to develop technology yourself
• Able to assess Use Cases in terms of value contribution, feasibility, and risks
• Strong stakeholder management when dealing with tech teams and business stakeholders
• Sovereign storytelling and preparation for decisions at the management level
