About the Company Pace Robotics, incubated by SINE IIT Bombay and backed by Pidilite Ventures and IIMA Ventures, is transforming building construction with intelligent, multi-tasking robots. We've launched India's first multi-tasking construction robot in partnership with one of the most renowned real estate developer across India and the Middle East and have secured pre-order interests from top-tier firms in the region. Our flagship product, Centa Painter, automates paint, putty, and sanding functions, revolutionizing the construction industry. As a Senior Industrial Designer at Pace Robotics, you will be responsible for designing innovative solutions that integrate seamlessly with our robots. Your primary responsibilities will include: • Designing and developing industrial design concepts that meet customer needs and align with company goals. • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and refine product designs. • Conducting user research, gathering insights, and creating personas to inform design decisions. • Developing and maintaining design standards, guidelines, and best practices. • Mentoring junior designers and providing guidance on design principles and methodologies. • Staying up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and innovations to continuously improve design skills and knowledge. Requirements: • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field. • 5+ years of experience in industrial design, product design, or a related field. • Strong portfolio showcasing innovative designs that demonstrate your expertise and creativity. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across functions and teams. • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines while maintaining high-quality work standards. • Proficiency in design software such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools. • Familiarity with 3D modeling and rendering software like Blender, Maya, or 3ds Max is a plus.
