Job description
Do you recruit the right people and take responsibility for everything that follows?
Pammys has grown to over a million customers in just a few years. Our logistics ensure that our products reliably reach them every day. For this, we need strong employees and HR work that thinks ahead, drives decisions, and functions in everyday life.
As a Senior HR People & Talent Partner (m/f/d), you will take over operational HR work for our warehouse location in Lensahn. You will recruit new talents, support employees throughout their entire employment period, and assist managers with demanding personnel decisions. At the same time, you will develop HR processes and independently implement projects.
Your workplace will be in our Hamburg Office. Twice a month, you will be on-site in Lensahn. You will be part of our HR team and work closely with our Head of HR, the COO, and our Head of Logistics.
Your Tasks
- Holistic responsibility for recruiting: You will manage personnel acquisition for Lensahn – from forward-looking needs planning, job postings, active candidate sourcing, and interviews to hiring.
- Develop new recruiting channels: You will find suitable channels for recruiting blue-collar workers, implement new measures, and develop a reliable applicant pipeline. You will keep an eye on applicant quality and filling speed.
- Support managers as sparring partners: You will identify personnel needs early, provide clear recommendations, and jointly develop pragmatic solutions with the COO and Head of Logistics for everyday warehouse operations.
- Actively shape employee relations: You will be a central point of contact for employees and managers, clarify HR questions, and confidently guide challenging conversations and conflict situations.
- Manage labor law-related personnel issues: You will analyze situations, prepare necessary measures, and implement them in coordination with the Head of HR. This includes changes in employment, handling breaches of duty, and professional support during separation processes.
- Keep contracts and deadlines under control: You will create and coordinate employment contracts, extensions, addenda, and other personnel documents. You will ensure that upcoming decisions are prepared early and relevant deadlines are met.
- Build Personio and digital personnel files: You will structure personnel administration for Lensahn in Personio, ensure complete documentation and up-to-date master data, and establish reliable digital workflows.
- Drive HR projects: You will identify areas for improvement and be responsible for larger site-specific projects – from conception to implementation. These include, for example, structured onboarding, digitalization of HR processes, and uniform standards for collaboration between HR and Logistics.
- Accompany the entire employee lifecycle: You will ensure that all personnel and administrative steps from entry to exit interlock and that offboarding is completed fully.
Your Profile
- Several years of sound experience in operational HR management with independent responsibility for recruiting, employee support, and labor law issues.
- A completed degree with a focus on Human Resource Management, Business Law, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience.
- Demonstrable recruiting successes, ideally in recruiting blue-collar workers in logistics, warehousing, production, or a comparable environment.
- Sound knowledge of German labor law and practical experience with challenging personnel cases. You can assess courses of action and recognize when additional legal review is necessary.
- Experience in advising managers, making clear recommendations, and conducting difficult personnel discussions professionally.
- Demonstrable experience in independently implementing HR projects and establishing functional HR processes.
- Proficiency with Personio or a comparable HR system, as well as high diligence with contracts, data, and documentation.
- Proactivity and high standards for your results: You do not wait for tasks but identify needs for action, set priorities, and bring topics to a conclusive end.
- Willingness to take responsibility down to the operational detail – from recruiting concept to complete personnel file.
- Very good German language skills, both written and spoken, and willingness to visit our Lensahn site twice a month.
Your Benefits at Pammys
- Your own area of responsibility: You will shape HR work for our warehouse location and directly influence how the team grows and collaborates.
- A role with substance: You will combine recruiting, employee relations, labor law, and HR projects, and accompany topics from the initial idea to implementation.
- Direct collaboration and short decision-making processes: You will work closely with our Head of HR, the COO, and the Head of Logistics.
- Scope for design with visible results: You will establish new recruiting channels, improve processes, and develop structures that keep pace with our growth.
- Office First: We focus on personal collaboration and short coordination paths on-site. Your permanent workspace is in our Hamburg Office. Twice a month, you will be at our warehouse location in Lensahn to work closely with managers and employees.
