Job description
Do you attract strong employees, drive HR topics forward, and take on responsibility?Pammys has grown to over a million customers in just a few years. Our logistics are a crucial part of this growth – and require forward-thinking, fast-acting, and reliable HR work.
As a Senior HR Manager – Recruiting & Employee Relations (m/f/d), you will take on operational HR responsibility for our warehouse location in Lensahn. You will attract new employees, support managers in personnel decisions, and oversee the entire employee lifecycle. At the same time, you will build structures and implement HR projects that further develop our location.
You will work in our Hamburg Office and be on-site in Lensahn twice a month. You will be in close contact with our Head of HR, the COO, and our Head of Logistics.
Your Responsibilities
- Take holistic responsibility for talent acquisition: You will manage the recruiting process for Lensahn – from proactive workforce planning and addressing and selecting suitable candidates to hiring.
- Actively develop recruiting: You will explore new channels, test suitable measures, and build a reliable candidate pipeline. You will assess success based on candidate quality, time to fill, and sustainable hires.
- Advise managers and drive decisions forward: You will work closely with the COO and Head of Logistics, identify personnel needs early on, and develop concrete solutions for daily operations.
- Shape employee relations: You will be a central point of contact for employees and managers, clarify HR issues, conduct challenging conversations, and address conflicts early and in a solution-oriented manner.
- Manage employment law topics: You will assess situations soundly, carefully prepare personnel measures, and implement them in coordination with the Head of HR. This includes changes in employment relationships, handling breaches of duty, and managing termination processes.
- Manage contract management and personnel administration: You will create and coordinate employment contracts, extensions, addendums, and other personnel documents. You will keep track of deadlines and ensure necessary decisions are made on time.
- Build and develop Personio for the location: You will structure digital personnel files, ensure complete master data and documents, and establish transparent processes in our HR system.
- Independently lead HR projects: You will identify areas for improvement and be responsible for major projects for Lensahn – from conception and coordination to implementation and success monitoring.
- Shape the entire employee lifecycle: You will ensure structured onboarding, reliable support during employment, and a complete offboarding process.
Your Profile
- Several years of comprehensive experience in operational HR management, coupled with independent responsibility for recruiting, personnel support, and employment law issues.
- A completed degree with a focus on Human Resource Management, Business Law, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience.
- Demonstrable recruiting success, ideally in attracting blue-collar employees in logistics, warehousing, production, or a comparable environment.
- Sound knowledge of German labor law and practical experience with challenging personnel cases. You can assess courses of action and recognize when additional legal review is necessary.
- Experience in providing well-founded advice to managers, making clear recommendations, and confidently conducting even difficult conversations.
- Proven experience in independently implementing HR projects and building functional personnel processes.
- Proficient in using Personio or a comparable HR system, along with a high degree of accuracy in contracts, data, and documentation.
- Proactivity and execution strength: You identify tasks independently, set priorities, and ensure topics are reliably completed.
- The willingness to take responsibility down to the operational details – from recruiting concepts to complete personnel files.
- Very good German language skills, both written and spoken, and the willingness to visit our location in Lensahn twice a month.
Your Benefits at Pammys
- Your own area of responsibility: You will shape the HR work for our warehouse location and directly influence how the team grows and collaborates.
- Challenging tasks with room for initiative: You will combine recruiting, employee relations, labor law, and location-specific HR projects.
- Direct collaboration: You will work closely with our Head of HR, the COO, and the Head of Logistics – with short communication channels and clear points of contact.
- Room for impactful improvements: You can establish new recruiting avenues, simplify processes, and create structures that keep pace with our growth.
- Office First: We focus on personal collaboration and short communication channels on-site. Your permanent workplace is in our Hamburg Office. Twice a month, you will visit our warehouse location in Lensahn to work closely with managers and employees.
