Job description
We are looking for an experienced, results-driven person to join our team as a Senior HR Manager (m/w/d) – someone who is strategic, hands-on and has a strong understanding of the entire employee lifecycle. You will be responsible for managing our personnel department with currently three employees and will carry the responsibility for the entire employee lifecycle – from recruiting over onboarding and development to offboarding.
You are the central point of contact for employees and executives in all HR matters and steer our external service providers. You bring ideas to strengthen our company culture, employee engagement and satisfaction, and develop initiatives for employer branding, talent management and personnel development.
You establish contracts and amendments, support with administrative tasks, especially monthly salary processing, and build structures and processes that ensure efficient workflows.
You are responsible for analyzing, preparing and quality-controlling all relevant HR and remuneration data and report these to management; you also support audits. In close cooperation with management, you develop our HR strategy further and ensure a modern personnel organization that supports our growth goals.

Qualification
- You have at least 5 years of professional experience in the HR field, ideally in an agile and fast-paced start-up or scale-up environment.
- You are familiar with labor law, recruiting, payroll accounting and personnel development.
- You have experience in designing and optimizing HR structures and processes.
- You act safely on all levels, combining strategic thinking with pragmatic implementation.
- You proactively address topics, communicate clearly and have genuine interest in people, organizations and development.
- You are willing to spend at least 50% of your working time in our headquarters in Bremen to ensure direct exchange with the team.
