Senior Hardware Developer (m/w/d) Performance Electronics & Drive Technology

We are looking for an experienced person who not only implements hardware development, but also actively shapes it.

In this position, you will work on future-oriented solutions for the machine building and electromobility sectors – from the initial idea to series maturity. Your contribution ensures maximum efficiency in high-complex systems and innovative products in the high-performance sector.

Tasks

In this role, you will work equally in the laboratory and office and comprehensively accompany your developments:

• Conceptualization and development of electrical hardware for automation and drive technology
• Design, calculation, and simulation of circuits and modules (e.g. gate drivers, thermal concepts)
• Development of high-voltage and performance electronics as well as signal electronics
• Assembly, commissioning, and functional testing of circuit components up to the entire device
• Support in conformity and type tests (e.g. CE, UL)
• Preparation of technical development documents (specifications, duty sheets, measurement reports, function descriptions)
• Techical accompaniment throughout the product life cycle
• Specification of electronic and mechatronic components
• Participation in studies and concepts for next-generation performance electronics

Qualification

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or equivalent field
• Multiple years of experience in hardware development, ideally in the area of performance electronics
• Very good knowledge of high-voltage systems, network forms and relevant standards
• Experience in developing electronic and mechatronic modules
• Structured, self-reliant and analytical working style
• Good communication skills as well as high reliability and dependability
• Very good German language skills and good English language skills
