In line with our further growth, we are looking for an experienced Senior Grid Connection Manager who will strengthen our cooperation with grid operators and accompany projects from network connection requests to successful implementation.

Terra One is expanding its Grid & Infrastructure Team. We are seeking a Senior Grid Connection Manager (m/w/d) who will enhance our competencies in developing and implementing large-scale battery storage projects in Germany and selected European markets.

In this role, you will be responsible for all activities related to the network connection of our assets – from feasibility studies and application submissions to technical coordination and cooperation with distribution and transmission grid operators (DSO/TSO).

You will serve as a central interface between Terra One and the grid operators, ensuring that our projects are grid-ready and we build and maintain stable, long-term relationships with relevant actors in the energy system.

Your tasks:

• Steering the entire lifecycle of network connection processes for our battery energy storage projects (BESS) in Germany
• Identifying suitable connection points and evaluating the technical and economic feasibility of the network connection
• Leading and coordinating network connection applications at distribution and transmission grid operators (DSO/TSO), including network studies, technical clarifications, and network connection agreements
• Serving as a central point of contact for grid operators and ensuring proactive, trustworthy communication
• Closely collaborating with internal teams (project development, approval, engineering) and external consultants to align net-relevant activities
• Supporting strategic assessments on network availability, capacity planning, and regulatory developments with an impact on the project pipeline
• Active participation in building up knowledge on grid-related topics and establishing best practices
