As a Senior GL Accountant, you will be responsible for the following tasks: • Maintaining and preparing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). • Performing financial analysis and providing insights to management to support strategic decision-making. • Developing and implementing financial processes and procedures to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to identify and prioritize financial projects and initiatives. • Providing training and guidance to junior accountants and other team members. • Staying up-to-date with changes in accounting standards, laws and regulations, and applying this knowledge to improve financial reporting and compliance. • Participating in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures. • Providing support to the management team in the preparation of financial reports and presentations. • Maintaining accurate and detailed records of financial transactions and activities. • Performing other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management.
