Senior General Ledger Accountant

Position: Senior General Ledger Accountant Job Description: Senior General Ledger Accountant As a Senior General Ledger Accountant, you will be involved in General Ledger controlling and reporting, compliance, tax, statutory, and multiple general accounting and reporting activities, along with a range of other financial reconciliation and control tasks as required within the team. What You Will Be Doing at Arrow? Control and manage the accuracy of General Ledger for the assigned Arrow companies, ensuring that all transactions are properly recorded, reconciled, and reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and internal policies. This includes reviewing and analyzing financial data, identifying and correcting errors, and providing recommendations to improve processes and controls. You will also be responsible for preparing and presenting financial reports to management and other stakeholders, as well as maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions. In addition, you will work closely with the accounting team to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies, and provide support and guidance to junior accountants as needed. What We Are Looking For: A highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with a strong background in general ledger accounting and reporting. You should have experience working with financial software and systems, including [insert specific software or systems], and be proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is required, and a professional certification such as CPA or CMA would be an asset.
