Senior GCP DevSecOps Engineer – Cloud Security & Automation Miejsce pracy: Kraków Technologies we use Expected Google Cloud Platform Terraform Python Go Bash Flux CD Helm Operating system Windows Linux About the project As a Senior GCP DevSecOps Engineer, you will be working for our client, a leading global financial services organization, focusing on advancing cloud security, compliance, and automation within Google Cloud Platform. You will contribute to building robust, secure cloud foundations for their applications, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure. Your expertise in DevSecOps will enable the development of scalable, efficient, and secure cloud-based solutions that meet the highest standards of security and compliance. Key responsibilities: • Design, implement, and maintain cloud-based architectures using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and other relevant technologies. • Develop and maintain Terraform configurations for infrastructure as code (IaC). • Automate deployment processes using Python, Go, Bash, and Flux CD. • Collaborate with the development team to ensure secure and compliant cloud-based solutions. • Stay up-to-date with the latest GCP features, best practices, and security guidelines. • Participate in on-call rotations for 24/7 support of production systems. • Work closely with the DevOps team to ensure seamless integration with existing infrastructure. • Develop and maintain Helm charts for containerized applications. • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., PCI-DSS, HIPAA) and industry standards. • Collaborate with the security team to implement and maintain cloud-based security controls. • Participate in regular code reviews and contribute to the development of secure coding practices. • Develop and maintain operating system images for Windows and Linux environments. • Ensure that all developed solutions are thoroughly tested and validated before deployment. • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth deployment and maintenance of cloud-based solutions. • Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigation strategies. • Participate in regular security training and awareness programs. • Develop and maintain documentation for cloud-based solutions, including architecture diagrams, technical guides, and troubleshooting procedures. • Collaborate with the development team to ensure that all developed solutions are thoroughly tested and validated before deployment. • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., PCI-DSS, HIPAA) and industry standards.
