Senior Functional Administrator

Vacature: Senior Functional Administrator – Digital Environment Systems Location: Hybrid (Rotterdam on Thursday, Utrecht every week on Tuesday) Hours: 36 per week

As Sr. Functional Administrator, you are responsible for managing and developing a web application within a digital system that supports citizens, businesses, and government agencies. You work in a multidisciplinary team of functional administrators and actively collaborate with product owners, architects, application managers, and software suppliers.

You ensure a smooth connection between work processes and ICT, and contribute to the stability, availability, and performance of the application. Cooperation with other development teams and chain partners is essential, as the system is part of a broader government chain.

• Coordinate and handle questions, reports, and change requests
  

• Support users in authorizations and permissions
  

• Perform operational management: testing, configuring, implementing
  

• Monitor performance and availability via tools like Grafana/Kibana
  

• Signal improvement opportunities and make suggestions for improvement
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in informatics, information science or comparable
  

• At least 5 years of experience with the BISL-beheerstandaard
  

• At least 3 years of experience with test automation (API tests)
  

• At least 3 years of experience with monitoring and logging tools like Grafana/Kibana
  

• At least 5 years of experience as a functional administrator in a complex organization, including:
  

  • Second-line question handling
    

  • User management and automation
    

  • Preparing user guides
    

  • Executing authorization procedures (API keys)
    

  • Managing functional changes
    

  • Generating reports for steering and performance insight
    

Wishes:

• Experience with Kubernetes
  

• Familiarity with Topdesk and Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence)
  

• Knowledge of digital systems and legislation regarding the living environment
  

• Certified Agileist (SA)
  

• Experience with digital connections (CPA, ebMS) within government agencies
  

• Team player with independent working attitude
  

• Analytically strong and solution-oriented
