(Senior) Fullstack Developer (m/f/d) Node.js

As a new member of our Fulfillment Team, you will drive the development process of software solutions for ticket creation and shipping with us. The Fulfillment Team is one of the three self-organizing domain teams at ticket i/O IT, working on online ticketing for events. Currently, it consists of 4 people, including a Tech Lead and a Product Owner.

In total, you can look forward to 30 team colleagues in IT and the product team. You will drive new features and the further development of our online ticketing software with us in sprints. TypeScript (nodeJS) is our programming language of choice, and for the framework, we rely on the advantages of nestJS in the backend, as well as ReactJS in the frontend. We build and host our application on AWS, thus creating a micro-service-based and scalable infrastructure. Are you in?

We combine years of experience from the event, leisure, sports, and trade fair sectors with the best technology to create an intuitive software solution. Since 2014, around 90 employees have been ensuring a smooth process before, during, and after an event with great commitment.

Tasks

• Support your team in the continuous development and new implementation for the creation and validation of event tickets as well as their shipping
• Conceive and develop new features: from the analysis of requirements to the implementation of individual development steps
• Weigh up visionary ideas and optimal software architecture in a solution-oriented, pragmatic, and economic way
• Take over process monitoring and pay special attention to scalability
• A bit of operation (DevOps), in collaboration with our two administrators
• We work according to the motto “you built it, you run it”, with support from our CoreTeam as a framework, we rely on the advantages of nestJS in the backend, as well as React in the frontend

Qualification

• You enjoy working in agile teams and work in a self-organized and independent manner
• You have experience with Distributed Systems
• You are knowledgeable: from frontend to backend, infrastructure, and database
• You have several years (professional) experience with Node.js and are confident with JavaScript (ideally with TypeScript)
• You have an eye for clean architectures and interfaces
• You perfect your work with the help of UnitTests & Co. and use GIT to stay in sync with your team
• You are eager to learn and are not afraid to learn new programming languages, technologies, and methods
• You speak fluent English and good German (min. B2)
• Experience with DDD (Domain Driven Design) or AWS knowledge are a plus
