Senior Fullstack Developer (m/w/d) — with Project Experience Deutsche Bahn / DB Systel

Founded in 2015 in Mannheim, further offices in Stuttgart and Munich. We are a software developer with experience from hundreds of individual projects for enterprise and mid-sized customers.

Your Tasks

You will work on customer projects at large companies, embedded in their teams, with full responsibility for your area.

• Fullstack development in enterprise environments
• Co-architecting, not just implementing
• Generating, reviewing, and refactoring code with Claude Code, Copilot, or Cursor
• Code reviews and technical mentoring within the team
• Alignment with Product Owners, UX, and DevOps

The majority of our employees come in one to two days a week to one of our offices. Compulsion is not necessary. When you're on-site at the customer's location, you'll only be there for individual appointments every few weeks.

What You Bring

Senior level. Our customers need people who deliver from day one and work independently.

Requirements for this Position: demonstrable project experience in the context of Deutsche Bahn or DB Systel. You have several years of development experience in the DB context and know specific domains such as timetable management, sales, or control and signaling technology. Without this experience, the position does not fit.

Tech-Stack:

• Frontend: React or Angular, TypeScript
• Backend: Java/Spring Boot, .NET, Kotlin or Python
• Cloud: AWS or Azure
• Databases: PostgreSQL, MongoDB or comparable
• CI/CD, Docker, Git
• Kubernetes, Terraform, Microservices

You don't have to be able to do everything. What's important is that you're confident on both sides and can quickly get up to speed with new stacks.

Ai-experience is not a nice addition at our company. Claude Code, Copilot, Cursor: You must be able to work productively with these tools. Not because we want to be hip, but because our customers expect it and we do too. If you hold AI-tools for a hype and prefer to type everything yourself: wrong company.
