We develop systems that our customers' operational business depends on: applications for claims processing, provisioning, sales control, ERP and logistics processes as well as digital customer and partner portals. Aufgaben

• You develop critical web and backend applications that our customers rely on in their daily operations.
• You take over features from start to finish: from clarifying requirements together with business analysts and technical conception with architects, through implementation to automated tests, delivery, and further development in productive operation.
• You work closely with business analysis, UX/UI, and architecture. You do not simply implement requirements, but question them and bring your technical perspective into play early on.
• Quality is not a secondary step for you. You ensure with automated tests, code reviews, clear interfaces, and maintainable code that our applications remain sustainable in the long term.
• You shape architectural decisions, development standards, CI/CD processes, and your team's technical working methods actively.
• In internal initiatives, you develop our engineering practice further – currently, for example, in the area of Agentive Engineering. What proves itself is brought into real customer projects under controlled conditions.

Qualifikation

• You have already developed or modernized several demanding applications and are familiar with both new development and dealing with mature systems.
• You can translate a professional requirement into a technical solution, design sensible components and interfaces, and estimate the impact of your decisions.
• You are confident in Java and/or Kotlin, TypeScript, as well as modern backend and frontend frameworks such as Springboot and Angular.
• You know different architectural approaches – for example, modular monoliths, microservices, and event-driven systems – and can justify which approach fits the problem.
• You can evaluate the quality of existing systems, identify technical risks, and prioritize concrete improvements.
• You have experience with a large cloud platform like Azure/GCP/AWS/OpenShift and can select suitable services based on professional and technical requirements.
• You know security best practices, automated testing strategies, CI/CD, and basic requirements for observability and stable operation.
• You can guide other developers in implementing without taking away their decisions.
• You communicate clearly with team members and stakeholders and are willing to openly address difficult technical topics.
