We work u.a. with Kommunalverwaltungen / Ausländerbehörden / Fachämtern together and build specialized applications for civil servants. Lexaru is characterized by AI-supported modules in secure and transparent systems.

The team currently consists of the 3 founders and serves several customers, including the state capital Düsseldorf. We are proud to have already built successful companies, bringing professional experience from Finance and Software Engineering as well as a strong academic background. We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer (m/w/d) with strong focus on Web-Product development and AI/LLM-Integration, who will technically support our team in the long term and shape our GovTech platform for public administrations.

Aufgaben

Produkt & Entwicklung

You are 100 % Full Stack and develop End-to-End Features as well as internal tools: from idea to architecture, implementation, testing, and rollout. This includes designing simple UI/UX as well as necessary backend engineering. You can build both fast MVPs and refined production features.

You integrate LLMs into our products, have already experience with fundamental technologies like RAG-Pipelines (indexing, embeddings, chunking, evaluation) and develop Prompt-Design, Guardrails, Logging, and Monitoring of AI functions.

Architektur & Betrieb

You work on the Architecture of our platform (services, data model, security) together with us, are responsible for Deployment / CI/CD / Monitoring, and ensure Security, Performance, Costs, and Stability in productive operation.

Zusammenarbeit & Produktdenken

You work closely with the founders and (pilot-)customers together, translate User Needs into technical solutions and clear user stories, and bring your own ideas in, prioritize them, and make pragmatic technical decisions.

Qualifikation

Must Haves – Fachlich

• Mehrjährige Erfahrung in professional product development (Full-Stack). (Average 4+ years, if you have less experience but think you're a good fit, convince us of your expertise!)
• Very good knowledge in modern frontend frameworks like TypeScript, ideally Svelte or Vue
• Very good knowledge in modern backend frameworks like Node.js or Django
• Experience with relational databases, ideally PostgreSQL including schema design and performance basics

• Strong Ownership Mindset: you don't see features as tickets, but as problem-solving packages that you're responsible for.
• Product focus: you want to understand how administrative processes work in government agencies to build meaningful UIs and flows.
• Able to work in an early phase with little process structures: you can prioritize yourself, make decisions, and bring things to a close.
• Leading clean documentation (architecture notes, ADRs, onboarding docs).
• Linguistic skills: excellent German and English
