Senior Full Stack Developer (m/w/d) (Full-time) (Remote)

We develop Shopify Apps for over 3,500 Shopify merchants. We are looking for a full Senior Full Stack Developer (m/w/d) with deep technical understanding, sense of clean code and passion for performant, scalable e-commerce solutions.

Tasks

This is what your day looks like:

• Planning, architecture, and development of Shopify Apps, plugins, and API integrations
• Full-stack development with modern technologies in frontend (React, Next.js) and backend (Node.js, Express, TypeScript)
• Integration with third-party systems (ERP, payment, CRM, logistics etc.) via REST- and GraphQL interfaces
• Ensuring performance, code quality, and scalability
• Implementation of responsive and accessible UI components
• Conducting code reviews, testing (unit, integration, E2E) and debugging
• BUILDING and maintaining CI/CD pipelines as well as technical documentation
• Closely collaborating with design, product, and QA to shape products from the ground up
• Mentoring junior developers and actively shaping our technical roadmap

Qualification

You bring:

• At least 5 years of experience in full-stack development
• Very good knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, and Express
• Solid understanding of working with databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL or MySQL)
• Routine work with Git, CI/CD, Docker, and modern DevOps workflows
• Understanding of UX/UI, API design, security (OAuth, JWT, CORS), and performance optimization
• (Optional) Experience with Shopify App Development, including Polaris, Webhooks, OAuth, and GraphQL API
• Self-motivated, structured, and solution-oriented work style
• Pleasure in teamwork, technical exchange, and responsibility
• Structured, independent work style with clear pipeline logic
• German on a native speaker level + good English in writing and speaking
