Senior Full Stack Engineer (Platform) @ Bayer

Qualifications & Competencies (education, skills, experience): Bachelor and/or master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or a related technical discipline. Proficiency in programming languages and object-oriented design skills, application architecture and software design patterns. At least four years of experience in Typescript / Javascript for web application development, preferably also with Vue.js or similar Javascript frameworks. Experience serving as technical lead through the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment, including Agile methodologies and version control systems like Git. Strong understanding of cloud-based technologies such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and/or other cloud platforms. Familiarity with containerization using Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes. Knowledge of database management systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, or similar databases. Experience with DevOps practices, including continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, automated testing, and monitoring. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a global team.
