Tasks
As an End-to-End Planner, you are our Single Point of Truth for Deutsche Giganetz:
- Analysis of potential self-funded & subsidized expansion areas regarding technical and economic feasibility by creating a rough plan with corresponding map and statistical material
- Full responsibility for the end-to-end planning process of the passive infrastructure (design, permit, and execution planning, documentation) as well as construction-accompanied planning steps in our fiber optic network
- Communication and management of external service providers and quality assurance of all services
- Use of our ESRI-based tool environment for the planning process
- Central interface in the region to our Sales, Strategic Project Management, Regional Construction, and Operations departments
- Coordination of technical and permit-related conditions in the expansion area with municipalities, associations, and authorities
Requirements
- Confident command of the German language
- Completed technical vocational or university degree in Geography, Urban and Regional Planning, Communications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Geoinformatics
- Relevant experience in the planning of fiber optic infrastructure and operational implementation in all service phases
- Relevant experience in the use of planning tools in the field of fiber optic networks
- Experience in the area of databases (PostGIS, SQL), GIS tools (ESRI, QGIS), and geodata
