We work in an agile environment and collaborate with Product, Design, and Backend teams to deliver a world-class user experience. We build and maintain a large and complex application, focusing on scalability, performance, and accessibility. About the Role We are looking for a Senior Frontend Software Engineer to join our Design System team. You will be responsible for building and maintaining our design system components, ensuring they meet the highest standards of accessibility and usability. You will work closely with designers, product managers, and other engineers to deliver a consistent and accessible user experience across our platform. What you will do * Develop and maintain accessible UI components using React, TypeScript, and other modern frontend technologies. * Collaborate with designers to ensure design system components meet accessibility and usability standards. * Write clean, well-documented, and testable code. * Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of our codebase. * Troubleshoot and debug issues in our frontend application. * Stay up-to-date with the latest frontend technologies and best practices. * Mentor junior engineers and share your knowledge and expertise. What you should have * 5+ years of experience in frontend development. * Strong proficiency in React, JavaScript, and TypeScript. * Experience with design systems and component libraries. * Deep understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG) and best practices. * Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library). * Excellent communication and collaboration skills. * Experience working in an Agile environment. * Experience with CSS and styling frameworks (e.g., Styled Components, CSS-in-JS). * Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Zustand).
