Senior Frontend Developer (Next.js) (m/w/d)

This role is crucial in creating intuitive and performant user interfaces that make complex AI functionalities accessible and user-friendly.

Tasks

• Development and further development of our React/Next.js-based web application with TypeScript
• Implementation of real-time streaming features for KI-chat interactions using the Vercel AI SDK
• Building and maintaining a consistent design system with shadcn/ui, Radix UI, and Tailwind CSS
• Optimization of user experience through performant state management solutions (Zustand, React Query)
• Participation in CI/CD pipelines (GitLab) and containerization with Docker

Qualification

• 3+ years of experience in frontend development with React and TypeScript, preferably in complex B2B SaaS products
• Fundamental knowledge of Next.js (App Router, Server Components, Server Actions)
• Experience with modern styling approaches (Tailwind CSS, CSS-in-JS) and component libraries
• Basic knowledge of CI/CD and Docker-based deployment
• Excellent communication skills in writing and speech (German + English)

Nice-to-have:

• Experience with Vercel AI SDK or similar streaming/LLM integrations
• Experience with E2E testing (Playwright, Cypress)
• Experience in professionally mentoring other developers
